Meridian Wheel

THE MERIDIAN CYCLE

Cyles are a natural part of our day and life expereince. There are seasonal cycles, monthly cycles, and daily cycles, just to name a few. Think about the ocean and the tides, they come in daily - having a high and low tide period. As humans, we also have daily "high and low tide" periods.

There are 12 meridains in the body. Using the meridian system, our day can then be divided into 12 two hour cycles, where a particular meridian is at its highest power period and lowest power period, during a given time frame. This is an internal body clock, that can provide us with much useful information. Review the meridan flow chart below, then use it to determine if there are any regular time periods during the day, where you are feeling particulary affected. .

The low time periods are the opposite 12 hour time period on the clock For example: 1AM - 3 AM is the active time for the Liver, where as 1PM- 3PM would be the resting time for that meridian . Get a printable copy of the Meridian Cycle.
